Project Description
This in-progress residential rooftop deck in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan features 6-Plank Bison Smooth Ipê Wood Tiles laid in a parquet pattern supported by Bison Versadjust Pedestals. Bison Wood Tiles are made from hardwoods which contain a rich variety of graining and coloration, are exceptionally dense and resistant to insects. These commercial-grade, responsibly harvested wood tiles weather well and are available in a variety of species. The high density of the hardwood species makes for minimal maintenance, even in the harsh Canadian winters! If maintaining the wood color is desired, wood tiles can be periodically cleaned and sealed; however, left to weather naturally, the wood tiles will develop a silvery-gray patina.
