Project Description
In December of 2009, Oncor announced they would be moving their corporate headquarters, including more than 500 employees and support personnel, to a new location in downtown Dallas, Texas early the following year. Oncor specifically chose the new location because of its proximity to the vibrant growth occurring in the Central Business District, including the new Woodall Rodgers Park that Oncor’s building will overlook.
This location, with dramatic views of the city, provided a perfect opportunity to create a spacious rooftop deck. The rooftop deck features Bison 2x2 Ipê Ribbed Wood Tiles and custom built Ipê Cubes all supported by adjustable Bison Versadjust Pedestals. The custom Ipê Cubes include recessed lighting to enhance the ambiance of the environment and improve visibility and safety under low light conditions.
